Ching Valdes-Aran, actor. Ching moved to New York from the Philippenes when she was younger to continue her career in dance. She since moved into theatre and has performed in numerous plays on and off Broadway, as well as various film and TV roles.
I photographed Ching on 9th Avenue, in the Cupcake Cafe, and in a community garden, all in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City, August 2011.
