Olney Charter High School
The Olney High School Shutterbug Program started in 2018 and focuses on giving our students a Vo-Tech curriculum where they learn the necessary skills to pursue careers in commercial photography, video, and related career fields. Professionals in these fields, including Photography Without Borders board members, do residencies where they teach students lighting techniques, how to take photos and videos at events, and much more. In addition, Photography Without Borders staff work alongside the teachers and staff at Olney to integrate photography and video into the school’s existing curriculum. There is a studio space complete with lights, computers, and a printer.
