Tony Rocco

Executive Director

Tony Rocco is an award-winning Latino photographer best known for his compelling portraits of people from his mother's native Colombia. His awards include First Place in Colombia's Feria Nacional de Fotografia (2006), as well as fellowships from the New Courtland Foundation (2011), Puffin Foundation (2008), National Association of Latino Arts and Culture (2005), and the Independence Foundation of Philadelphia (2004). For the past 20 years he has taught photography to at-risk children around the world. Tony is also the founder and director of Photography Without Borders, whose mission is to engage children from marginalized communities around the world in photography-based projects of self discovery and storytelling.
